Our Finances – How Do We Fund Ourselves?

The economic planning and budgetary resources of the Working Group for Child and Youth Welfare (AGJ) are derived from grants, membership dues, and other sources of revenue.

The infrastructure of the AGJ office is funded as project support from the federal government’s Child and Youth Plan. Other AGJ expenses are financed from its own funds.

In addition to the annual budgetary funds made available upon application, the association occasionally manages other projects, such as the German Child and Youth Welfare Days, multilateral initiatives, and other individual projects. The association generates revenue from publications, membership dues, and professional conferences. The Supreme Youth and Family Authorities of the federal states, as the founders of the German Child and Youth Welfare Award, provide long-term support for the award’s presentation.
